Fund anti-fascist & anti-racist interview transcription

Howdy, comrades. This is just a message to let you know about a crowdfunding campaign we’re starting.

Since launching in June 2019, the Where’s My Jetpack podcast has conducted 10 interviews on anti-fascism and anti-racism.

Interviewees range from a migrant rights advocate in New Zealand, to a prominent anti-fascist writer in Australia, to a DSA Afrosocialists member in New York, among other writers and activists, on questions including the revival of the far right, wider conditions that enable them, and strategies for the fightback.

We plan to transcribe this content, making it accessible to all, and paying all transcribers market rates.

For this reason, we’re launching a crowdfunding campaign on FireFund, a non-profit foundation for radical political crowdfunding. Our stretch goal is €1,000 to transcribe all 10 interviews, though we’re starting at €350 for the first 4 interview

A breakdown of the interviews and rates budget is accessible on our FireFund page.

We have a range of awards for donations, from thanking donors on the podcast, to joining our discord, to a personalised drawing by Derek.

If you have any spare cash in these tough times, please consider pitching in whatever you can, to make anti-fascist resources more accessible. Every little counts.

We hope these resources prove useful for anti-fascist and anti-racist organisers, as well as anyone seeking to learn more.

Solidarity, and see you in the future!
